Hiya, Crafters! How is everyone today? Looks a little bit gloomy here, but all in all still good. Today's make is a waterfall card. You can follow view the tutorial that I looked over here, but I did modify mine slightly.
Here's what you'll need to make this card:
Adhere your DSP to your 4 3/4 x 6 1/4" piece of cardstock. Then take your teal 1 x 4 1/2" piece of cardstock and set it about three quarters down on the DSP. Only tape the very ends so that we can slide the paper underneath it.
Now slide your 2 x 9" with the scores facing forward and line it up with the bottom of the band; this will be a guide to where you punch. Take your 1" circle punch and punch out half of it, this way it draws attention when it's done so the receiver knows where to pull.
Now stamp your images on the white pieces of cardstock and then adhere those to the teal pieces of cardstock.
Then run your tape across just the top only and but it against the last score line. You'll want to build your waterfall from the bottom up. Then repeat this with the next three squares, only taping the top and butting it against the score line.
Now poke holes on either ends of the teal band that you earlier stuck to the DSP and insert your brads. This is to help keep the band on the DSP.
Now tape only the bottom edge of the violet 2 x 9" cardstock that's under your bottom teal square, then adhere it to the very bottom of the teal band and slip the other end under the band. It will look something like this.
Now take your bit of ribbon and staple it to the end of the violet 2 x 9".
And stamp your greeting on on the strip when it's pulled all the way out so it is revealed when they pull on the ribbon.
All that's left is that you take this topper and adhere it to your base. You'll have something that will look like this from the side. I fluffed mine, but it will lay flat.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. You can find me on Pinterest, Bloglovin', and Facebook. Thanks for popping over, Crafters! I'll see you soon!
